From July 24th to July 27th, UTD CKI attended International Convention (ICON) in Austin, TX along with several other CKI clubs across the country.
During convention, we elected our International Board, bonded with other members and officers from the Texas-Oklahoma district, attended workshops with topics ranging from neurodivergence to conflict management and other CKI-related subjects, and engaged in meaningful service projects throughout the days.
As a district, Texas-Oklahoma took home 14 awards! Internationally, we now have a new service initiative with UNICEF known as Brick x Brick. Look forward to hearing more about this event throughout the school year and if you are interested in events like these, look for more to come throughout this year!
